Dean worked at his family's hotel in Devon when he was 14 and caught the bug. This progressed to working in varied roles and establishments over his apprenticeship in the kitchen.

In his spare time Dean took on private work and secured a local contract to service canape functions for the change over and re-branding to customers from Midland to HSBC. It sowed the seed that one day, he wanted to go alone.

Whilst Dean worked in London, he gained experience and work at the LSE Bankside House, Pinsent Curtis, Which Consumer Magazine, D J Freeman, Saga Petroleum, Zomba Records & Teather & Greenwood.

After some work abroad in both France & Australia and over 7 years with the former Contract Caterer Everson Hewett in London, Dean decided to set up the company in 2005. 'Nothing I have ever achieved before, matches the satisfaction of you making the decisions, wrong or right - I've never looked back.'

Dean is married to Samantha and they have a daughter called Erin. They enjoy their beach hut, simple family life, dinghy sailing, veg growing and camping in Europe.

Matt trained at Brooklands College, Weybridge, Surrey with members of the British Team of Chefs and the Chairman of the Pastry Chefs' Association. He holds many catering qualifications including City & Guilds NVQ Levels 1, 2 and 3 in Catering and Hospitality, City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Patisserie and Confectionery and an Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate. During his training he was awarded 'Student of the Year' and 'Chef of the Year' accolades.

Having been a professional Chef since 1995, Matt is highly skilled with natural flair. He has worked at a variety of establishments including Chichester Cathedral Enterprises and many blue-chip companies in the City of London. Throughout his career Matt has regularly taken part in both individual and team culinary competitions winning gold an impressive seven times, five of which were achieved at Hotelympia.

Matt joined Just Hospitality in May 2007 having known Dean on both a personal and professional level for several years. To him, cooking is not only a career it's a real passion.

Matt is married to Helen and they have a son called Toby.
