Matt Byne our Executive Chef has a passion to kindle new talent into the catering trade. A growing issue in the trade is the gap between trained and cooperative work force to fill the positions for the future.

As part of our growth requirements for the future, we have forged a link between Thames Valley University and we regularly take college placements. This is both valuable for the student as they understand first hand, industry know how and we as a business can contribute to the future of the trade.

Matt also partakes in demonstrations at the College and talks through what is current in business & industry and expected when the college leavers start to look for their first job.

Dean also mentors one to one with would be 'Managers' of the future. We encourage new ideas, bring our the best in young staff and recognize and kindle talent.
