We're just getting started at Splunk
Our latest catering contract is all about helping teams eat, work and play in whatever way works best for them
We are thrilled to announce our new full-service catering contract with tech firm Splunk.
Founded with the aim of making machine data accessible, usable and valuable to everyone, they help businesses to get hold of the insights that drive all of their key decisions.
Until now Splunk has relied on a mix of local delivery services, events companies and their own in-house team to provide all of their food services. With their London office growing at a happy pace, they have decided to use a single contract caterer (that’s us!) who will take the time to understand the company culture and cook fresh food that reflects their values and passions. Not to mention removing the need for daily runs to the supermarket or, in their words, “staying up until 2am thinking about raspberries!”
After hearing about our unique food policy and genuine love of great food, they asked us to tender a proposal and loved what they saw. The rest is history and we couldn’t be more excited to get started!
On the first day we walked into their office we felt that this was a place we could really feel at home. Splunk has a close-knit team with huge passion for their products, who work and play together and put the wellbeing of every member front and centre of workplace policy. That’s exactly the sort of place that makes us burst with ideas for great food and special treats.
We’re especially happy to be going in from the start with a wide range of services. That includes a weekly breakfast, a daily lunch and a whole range of events services from staff socials to corporate catering. We operate best this way because creating a food culture, instead of just “providing food”, requires a joined up approach. That means what people eat in the morning should complement what they tuck into at that evening’s beer and pizza night, and the dining options should be fully balanced and healthy throughout the week.
Having a regular presence at Splunk also allows us to communicate consistently with our customers – offering health tips, food trivia and dishing on London life to help them get in control of however best they eat, work and live.
Because this is an established office, Just Hospitality’s aim for now is to give the Splunk team peace of mind without interrupting the flow of everyone’s day. Things won’t change dramatically overnight! We’ll take the time to get to know how they work best and how our services can give them inspiration and make their day go even more smoothly. Once we know that – the sky’s the limit.
